The “Green City Tour” is a guided tour in Berlin, by bicycle and in English, that is focusing on initiatives towards sustainability
We’ll cycle a route which takes you by buildings with ecological installation, sustainable clothing stores, an intercultural market, alternative housing communities, organic restaurants and shops, an urban farm, a do-it-yourself workshop. Issues like transport and urban activism will also be talked about.
Why?
Berlin is knowns as an « innovative » and « alternative » city in its ecological meanings. Indeed, many community groups, many organisations, many public initiatives, many private habits or businesses have chosen to go in the direction of a sustainable development. We want to show you those sustainable projects. This is why Grass Routes, a non-profit organisation that focuses on sustainabilty and creativity, has developed the Green City Tour in Berlin! Join it!
We hope this tour will contribute you coming back home from Berlin with new ideas to develop a more sustainable world, in your personal, professional or community life.
